This is my lidded project. I threw the vase-like bottom and then measured to make sure the lid would fit. While I threw this I learned how the make sure the to pieces fit with the measuring tool. The art elements that are apart of this project are color, shape, and form. The glaze makes my project look like a water melon.

This is my extra project. It is a small dish that I threw on the wheel. A new skill I learned while making this project was the glazing technique to get the line. The art elements used are shape, line, and color. The lines in the dish remind me of a spider. This is my choice project. I made a bowl on the wheel. I threw a bowl because I was trying to perfect my technique and make it bigger. It has the art elements of color and form and shape. It is shadow green and unique because it has a chip in the rim. This is my planter. I made it in the wheel. The new skill I learned while making my planter was the whole skill of making the planter. It has the art elements of color, shape, and form. It looks like a sunflower that goes well with the idea of a planter. This is my cup with the pulled handle. I made the a cylinder on the wheel and footed it and then used the pulling technique to make the handle. Pulling is the new skill I learned. It is when you get a strip like piece of clay and get your fingers wet and pull down until it is a strip. My cup has the art elements of color, shape, and form. This cup is special to me because I made it for my friends birthday and I'm really excited for her to get it! It is Kaitlin, Kaya and my franken pot. I made the base, Kaya made the middle, and Kaitlin made the top. Kaitlin also glazed it with Kaya and my ideas. Our franken pot has the art elements of color, shape, and form. Connecting the pieces was tricky and we were able to do it with out messing anything up.
This is my vase. I threw this vase on the wheel. While making my vase I learned how to choke and make the rim a vase would have. The main art elements in this are shape, form, color, and a sort of illusion of texture. I glazed this and when it came out the color is in a way to pretend to have texture. The vase was a sort of hard project for me and I was able to do it so it shows my improvement.
This is my second bowl. I also made this one on the wheel. When making this bowl, I didn't necessarily learn anything new, but I improved my skill with throwing. The main art elements of this bowl are shape, form, and color. On this bowl I focused more on glazing and making cool designs. The bowl shows how my extra-hard focus pays off.
This is my 1st wheel bowl. I made it on the wheel. While making this I learned how to pull the clay up from the base enough and out enough that it was able to be made into a bowl shape. The main art elements of my bowl are shape, form, and color. My bowl shows how I have progressed in my throwing on the wheel.
This is my firm slab project made out of clay that sat in a bag in a locker for a day. A new skill I learned while creating this project was pinching the edges so they wouldn't fall apart. The main art elements are shape, form, color, and texture. The lantern has a texture like pebbles so it looks like something that would go in a faerie garden.
